Musson (Jamaica) Limited is the successor to SP Musson Son and Company Limited which has been trading in the Caribbean since 1820. It was one of the original six companies that went on to form Barbados Shipping and Trading Limited. Desmond Blades led a management buyout of the Jamacian arm which resulted in the establishment of Musson (Jamaica) Limited in 1963.  From this base, Musson has grown organically and by acquisitions to become one of the largest private companies in the Caribbean. Today, Musson’s subsidiaries and affiliates employ over 5,000 people and operate in over 25 countries throughout the Caribbean, Central America and beyond.
